CFE awarded 296 Team Member Grants of $300 each and/or Coach Grants of up to $1,100 each to teachers across 137 CPS schools. Congratulations to the teachers!
Teacher quality is a fundamental factor in providing the rich educational experience that all Chicago students deserve. Chicago Foundation for Education (CFE) honors exemplary Chicago Public School (CPS) teachers with leadership, learning, and grant opportunities that enhance teacher quality and stimulate professional growth. We currently offer five grant-based programs and an annual Teachers as Leaders and Learners Workshop. During the past year alone, we funded 549 grants and worked with 1,072 teachers across 291 schools.
As we celebrate more than 25 years of CFE’s support to CPS teachers, we recognize and thank those who have contributed to our success.
