Teacher quality is a fundamental factor in providing the rich educational experience that all Chicago students deserve. Chicago Foundation for Education (CFE) honors exemplary Chicago Public School (CPS) teachers with leadership, learning, and grant opportunities that enhance teacher quality and stimulate professional growth. We currently offer four grant-based programs and an annual Teachers Workshop. During the past year alone (2016-17), we funded 516 grants and worked with 751 teachers across 430 schools to impact 64,538 students.

As we celebrate more than 33 years of CFE’s support to CPS teachers, we recognize and thank those who have contributed to our success. We are extremely appreciative of the dedicated volunteers and the individual, foundation, and corporate donors who make all of our accomplishments possible. Support our efforts as a donor or a volunteer, or apply for a grant today!
